About Our Program

Tabor College Art and Design provides students with a strong grounding in art and design foundations followed by a wide variety of courses to allow students to experiment and develop their own unique practice. The Studio Art program offers courses in painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, and mixed media while the Graphic Design program includes courses in typography, branding, advertising, video, and web design. Students are encouraged to use these tools to engage with others in the church, community, and society.

Success Story

Dallas PruittDallas Pruitt

(2010 graduate)

Lead Graphic & Motion Designer for Squid Ink Creative in Wichita, Kansas & creator of the official Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference logoKCAC-Logo-web

“I really enjoyed my time at Tabor. I felt that the classes gave me a great foundation to build my career on. Instead of just teaching me the programs that my industry uses, Tabor also taught the theories and design principles to go along with them–both of which have been integral in my growth and success as a graphic and motion designer. Tabor is a special place where you can learn and hone your craft under talented instructors, who challenge your skills as well as your faith. When you graduate, you are ready to enter your field and make an impact right away. I like to use the phrase, ‘I create for the Creator‘ and Tabor helped give me the foundation and background to do just that.”
