Teacher Education prepares you for professional excellence with a Christ-centered foundation as you fulfill your calling in the classroom. We also offer a seamless transition into graduate courses with our one-year M.Ed. in Neuroscience & Trauma or Certificate in Neuroscience & Trauma.
Why Teacher Education at Tabor?

- Opened in 2021, the Shari Flaming Education Commons offers state-of-the-art facilities for all aspiring educators. It is equipped with flexible classroom space designed for elementary and secondary education majors, including a curriculum library.
- Pre-education majors participate in classroom field experience within their first year at Tabor.
- Students pursuing a career in teaching have a 100-percent job placement rate. You are prepared to teach in private or public education.

“The Tabor College education program prepares students for licensure in Kansas. Students interested in licensure in other states should contact the department chair for a custom consultation.” Program completers qualify for initial teacher licensure through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). The College holds membership in the Kansas Association of Private Colleges of Teacher Education (KAPCOTE).
