HILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College announces the launch of a brand new website, tabor.edu. The website was given an overhaul to make it more usable and searchable for potential students, alumni and friends of the school.
Tabor College president, Jules Glanzer, wanted to move forward with this project to promote the school in a visual way.
“The Tabor experience can best be captured with pictures and videos,” Glanzer said. “Our new website gives all who use it a visual image of what being part of the Tabor community is like. The beauty of the campus, the joy on the faces and the involvement of students learning are captured on the website.”
Ron Braun, vice president of advancement, says this project was much needed.
“We wanted to make sure people searched through our site and stayed on it longer,” Braun said. “We want to be on the cutting edge of technology and create a website that everyone will find attractive. I think we accomplished that with our new design.”
The new alumni and friend’s page will be used to help promote upcoming events and encourage support.
“The website connects Tabor College with the many constituencies that have interest in the school,” Glanzer added. “From interested prospective students, donors, alumni, friends and people wanting to know the latest news, the website is the place to go to connect.”
People who attend events at Tabor will notice an all-encompassing calendar including: academics, athletics, performing arts and Lifelong Learning events.
The project started in September 2014 and launched in early February. BitBrilliant, a website development company in Bartlesville, Okla., was responsible for design, content migration, consulting and strategy to make tabor.edu user friendly.
