Students from across the campus participate in Contemporary Christian Music at Tabor College. From leading in chapel to participating in various campus ministry events and traveling to churches and youth groups, these bands are a vital part of the school’s ministry.

Auditions

Each year, open auditions are held during the fall semester. Scholarships are also available for participation in Tabor Worship Ministry Teams. The audition process for involvement and scholarships is the same:

  • Complete the CCM Application Form.
  • Incoming freshmen: submit your high school transcript and official ACT or SAT scores to Tabor College Admissions. Transfer students: submit all college transcripts.
  • Begin the online reference process by entering the email address of a pastor, youth pastor or mentor in the CCM Reference Form.
  • Schedule a campus visit and sing or play for the Contemporary Christian Music faculty. If a campus visit is not possible, schedule a phone interview and provide a video of yourself playing and/or singing.

Host a Group

Our groups often travel to minister to area churches, youth groups and/or schools. We are prepared to lead part or all of your event, whether it’s a worship service, youth group, camp, or retreat. Primarily, our groups are worship teams, so give your regular team a week off, and bring in a Tabor Worship Ministry Team to serve your congregation.
