Shelia Litke playing piano

Piano study at Tabor College is an important part of the curriculum. Pianists are involved in a variety of programs, including music, music education, pedagogy, and worship leadership. Piano majors and minors study privately and receive strong, well-rounded instruction.

There are many opportunities for pianists including accompanying for vocalists and instrumentalists, teaching in the community Music Preparatory School, and performing in many concerts including the semi-annual Piano Extravaganza or various competitions. In addition, pianists often have the opportunity to serve area churches as pianists or playing keyboard as part of worship teams
