HILLSBORO, Kan.— Taylor Kriley, Ed.D., has been named vice president of enrollment, marketing, and communication at Tabor College. Kriley comes to Tabor from Emporia State University, where she served as executive vice president for enrollment management and student success and as interim president.
As a member of the college’s executive team, Kriley will oversee enrollment, marketing & communications, athletics, and student life.
The newly created position brings together several key areas of campus, creating greater alignment throughout the student experience—from a prospective student’s first introduction to Tabor through graduation.
“I’m incredibly grateful and excited to join the Tabor community and serve in this role,” Kriley said. “I believe deeply in the life-changing power of a Christ-centered education and in the opportunity we have to invite students into a place where they can discover who God created them to be.”
Kriley began her second stint at Emporia State, her alma mater, in July 2024. She oversaw student success and enrollment management and served as an associate teaching professor in school leadership at The Teachers College. Kriley led numerous departments in this position, including Admissions, Advising, Registration, Financial Aid, Career Services, the Center for Student Involvement, Memorial Union, Residential Life, Student Recreation Services, and Student Wellness.

She understands that enrollment is much more than numbers— it is about inviting students into a community where they can discover God’s calling for their lives and be transformed through a decidedly Christian education.”
Before returning to Emporia, Kriley served as assistant vice president for student success and assistant professor of advanced education programs at Fort Hays State University. She began as director of student engagement before moving into her assistant vice president position.
Kriley earned her B.F.A. in communication and M.S. in school counseling from Emporia State. She completed her Ed.D. in leadership in higher education at Baker University, studying first-year seminar course characteristics and student persistence from first to second year at regional public state universities.
“Since I arrived on campus, it is evident there is tremendous energy around Tabor,” Kriley said. “I’m excited to work alongside this community to tell its story, welcome new students and families, and build on the incredible work God is already doing here.”
