HILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College will host its annual spirit night Feb. 10 at the men and women’s basketball games with the Bluejays playing Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
The women’s basketball game will start at 5 p.m. followed by the men’s game at 7 p.m.
Churches in Marion County plus the churches in the Central & Southern District of the Mennonite Brethren Conference, which includes Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Minnesota, are invited to attend.
The evening will include events such as raffles, crowd activities and food. After the men’s game, the post-game gathering in the cafeteria will serve ice cream cups, snacks and drinks along with the chance to win prizes.
“The purpose of the night is to get people to come out and watch some good basketball, pack the house, reconnect with friends, have a good time and support the Bluejays in the process,” said Rod Hamm, director of alumni relations.
Admission to this event is free of charge when visitors sign their name and church at the door. Churches are encouraged to promote Spirit Night to all attendees of their respective congregations.
