HILLSBORO, Kan.— Tabor College has selected McCownGordon Construction, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., to serve as its general contractor for the Business & Entrepreneurship Center (BEC). The project consists of remodeling the former Mary J. Regier Building and adding an atrium and academic center on the north side of the facility.

The BEC will be a cornerstone academic center for Tabor, transforming learning, entrepreneurship, and the integration of faith and work, benefiting students, the community, and the world. It will house classes and events in business, Tabor’s largest major, and the Central Kansas Entrepreneurship Center. New classrooms, computer labs, collaborative ideation and maker spaces, co-working and event spaces offer limitless opportunities for current and future generations of Tabor students.
