In partnership with the Kansas Independent College Association (KICA), Tabor College teacher education majors participated in Teacher Interview Day. Professors invited the junior class to virtually interview alongside principals and hire professionals to explore student-teaching jobs from 15 Kansas school districts.

“These students did amazing,” said Lisa Moore, department chair and assistant professor of education. “We loved hearing their excitement when they’d get out of each interview. The teaching market is very different, so some of our students are being offered bonuses and stipends to begin student teaching.”
