Tabor’s new Shari Flaming Welcome Center is on schedule to be completed in June. This attractive building is quickly taking shape with recent installation of external brick, siding and windows. Additionally, internal electrical, plumbing, drywall, signage and placement of doors is progressing. Finishing touches such as furniture and artwork are currently being determined. General contractor, Vogts Construction, continues its commitment to a finish date that allows for an early summer move-in.
President Jules Glanzer said, “The Center is devoted to our campus guests who include prospective students and parents, alumni and friends of the College. With the generosity of Chuck and Shari Flaming, we’re pleased to be able to provide a more welcoming and comfortable entrance to the Tabor experience.”
Rusty Allen, executive vice president for operations, noted, “This is one more way Tabor is exhibiting its commitment to hospitality and interest in serving our visitors with excellence.”
Opportunities for tours of this new building will be announced at a later date.
