Tabor's performance of The Messiah

Tabor College’s performance of Handel’s “Messiah” will be broadcast on Smoky Hills PBS on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. and KSCW on Dec. 25 at 11 a.m.

Conducted by Dr. Gregory Zielke, Tabor director of choirs, the Sunday, Dec. 3 performance features the Tabor Concert Choir, Alumni & Community Chorus, and Messiah Orchestra.

Soloists in The Messiah include:

Betsy George (Grad., Omaha, Neb.)
Lexi Milne (SO, Inman, Kan.)
Glenn Litke (g’74)
David Martens (g’85)

“I am so thrilled that our performance of Handel’s “Messiah” will be broadcasted for many more to see,” Zielke said. “To be able to share the wonderful work of our students is very gratifying. Anything of this nature raises the profile of Tabor College music. The efforts of our tremendous faculty and students and to have our beautiful Richert Auditorium viewed by folks is a powerful testament to the commitment of Tabor to performing arts.
