Tabor College thriving academically with new & incoming students

After besting a 15-year record for incoming freshmen GPA (3.35) in fall 2022, Tabor College continues to build upon its strong foundation in academic performance. With a mark of 3.42 for its newest freshmen class, Tabor has ushered in three straight classes above 3.40.

Tabor greeted 136 incoming freshmen this semester, helping hit its total of 495 undergraduate students on campus. With 82 students enrolled in graduate & online courses and 44 in dual credit, the college totaled 621 students across all programs. Fall-to-fall retention topped 70 percent once again, reaching 72 percent this semester.

“We’re continuing to see exceptional students coming to Tabor,” President David Janzen, Ph.D., said. “After graduating a large class last May, we are very optimistic about our spring transfer class and seeing more students understand why a decidedly Christian education is so valuable. Campus culture is excellent, academics are strong, and student activities are thriving.”

Tabor’s on-campus and graduate & online students come from 37 U.S. states, 31 countries, and six continents.
