In a world where:
College is expensive… science and religion conflict with each other
I was able to apply for and receive several grants and scholarships while attending Tabor, including a choir scholarship. I appreciated that my education included all subjects, including science, art, music, physical education, history, etc.
I needed:
Personalized classes… and a sense of community
Ultimately, I chose to attend Tabor to remain in Hillsboro. I had three part-time jobs in town, which enabled me to work and go to classes. Even as a student, I was able to contribute to the community, all while receiving a quality education.
Tabor provided:
Independent studies… well-rounded education
My counselors and professors understood my schedule and were able to accommodate independent study classes that I needed for graduate school. Their mentoring allowed me to find the right career path in medicine.
