Parent testimonials

  • Thank you so much for offering this camp, even during the Covid crisis. With most youth theatre opportunities shut down in Wichita this summer, Viola was thrilled to attend this camp. She is usually part of two or three shows per summer plus MTW Teen Choir, so to say she was starving for theatrical involvement is an understatement. She had a truly wonderful week at Tabor, met many new friends, made priceless memories and is very excited to return next year (she has several friends who want to join her as well). I never worried about her safety, I appreciated the spiritual aspects that were incorporated into the week and, as a set and costume designer myself, I was thrilled the camp offered workshops on the technical and backstage aspects of theatre alongside the usual singing & choreography that most youth theatres primarily focus on. The final performance was a joy to watch, with each camper enjoying time in the spotlight. Viola’s soprano solo came as un unexpected surprise, as she tends to keep her voice in alto range. I was so impressed with the progress she made facing her fear of high notes and she sounded WONDERFUL. May God bless the staff involved in making this week such a success. Shalom to you all!

  • I was blown away by the final performance and my daughter’s experience at this camp. We are so thankful that the camp was still able to be held with the COVID-19 situation, because it had an enormously positive impact on my daughter. I appreciate all of the outstanding effort put forth by the camp staff to follow all of the COVID-19 prevention guidelines while still providing an outstanding experience for the campers. Well done!

  • Our child had a wonderful spiritual experience and made new friends!

  • Yet again, a wonderful experience for our camper!

Camper testimonials

  • I would recommend this camp 100%. If you love theater and God you NEED to go. This camp helps you grow in more ways than one!!! It helped me become way more confident in myself not just on stage but in life. This camp is unlike any other camp I have ever been to!!!

  • I would say that this camp can really change you positively. The people are supportive and kind, and the counselors are easy to talk to. On top of all that, the production quality is amazing regardless of your skill level.

  • That it was an amazing experience with the nicest, kindest people and that I met so many new friends and learned lots of very useful things that will be with me for a long time to come!

  • Yes I would recommend this camp. It offered valuable lessons in not only acting but also in life, how we should treat others and respect for those in leadership positions.

  • It’s very fun, not only do you get voice lessons, and you get to sing, but there are also fun activities in the evenings, and the food is delicious!

  • You work with the absolute best people who know exactly what they are talking about and how to best make YOU specifically grow!

  • This camp puts you in the most friendly environment I’ve ever seen but challenges you to go above and beyond all the same.

  • I would recommend this camp because it was a great learning experience and was so much fun! 10/10!

  • It was amazing and the things we do are so much fun!
