Tabor College classes for Tuesday, Jan. 9, have been canceled due to extreme weather conditions. Snow drifts on and around campus and reduced visibility due to blowing snow make travel particularly difficult.
Students are asked to exercise caution if going outside, including appropriate clothing, due to the conditions above and single-digit wind chills. The dining hall will remain open to students throughout the day.
With highways closed or completely snow-covered around Hillsboro and throughout the region, faculty and staff are also asked to exercise caution and wait until this afternoon, at the earliest, if traveling to campus.
