However, as the costs of higher education and athletic competition continue to rise, so does the challenge to compete at a championship level. Private contributions become increasingly important to supplement the rising costs for equipment, supplies, travel, and facility upgrades. The Bluejay Backers are committed to helping the Tabor College Athletic Department meet these challenges by providing a foundation of success that can be relied upon for decades.
Bluejay Backers is designed to support the athletic department in creating an environment for student-athletes that supports learning, promotes excellence, and stimulates Christian growth. Our vision is this focus on the student-athlete’s collegiate experience results in an ever-expanding sphere of Christian influence.

Gifts to the Bluejay Backers are tax deductible and go to assist with projects that are outside of the general athletic budget. The Bluejay Backers operates under the direct supervision of the Athletic Director, David Ediger.
