HILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College has released the 2015 fall semester Dean’s List. It includes 54 freshman, 36 sophomores, 53 juniors, 56 seniors, two postbaccalaureate and one certification for a total of 202 students—12 more students than in fall 2014. In order to make the Dean’s List, a student must earn between a 3.5 and 4.0 grade point average.
Students earning a 3.85-4.00 GPA received highest honors and include 22 freshmen, 19 sophomores, 34 juniors, 32 seniors, two post baccalaureate and one certification for a total of 110.
Students earning a 3.70-3.849 GPA received high honors and include 15 freshman, 11 sophomores, nine juniors and nine seniors, for a total of 44.
Students earning a 3.50-3.699 GPA received honors and include 17 freshmen, six sophomores, 10 juniors and 15 seniors, for a total of 48.
Vice President of Academics Frank Johnson praised the students for their outstanding efforts in the classroom.
“It is a privilege to work with students who take their academic achievement seriously,” Johnson said. “I applaud each student for their accomplishment. I also am very thankful for how our faculty and staff invest themselves in the lives of students.”
Tabor College President Jules Glanzer said: “We are proud of these students and their academic achievement. They have worked hard, learned much and demonstrated excellence in the classroom. I congratulate them for their excellent work.”
