Scholarship Audition
Students auditioning for a band scholarship must complete an audition either live on the Tabor College campus or by submitting a video audition online. If you prefer to complete your audition on campus, please visit our live audition page: https://tabor.edu/performing-arts/audition-days/
If you are submitting your video online, please video yourself performing the audition material. We prefer that your audition video be either one continuous video, or if filmed in multiple takes, edited together as one long video.
Your audition consists of:
- Full-range chromatic scale
(While we prefer to hear your full range scale, a one-octave scale will be accepted for those needing this option) - Brief lyrical excerpt of your choice
- Brief technical excerpt of your choice
(Excerpts can come from music in your band folder and/or any solo repertoire you have prepared.)
When you are ready to submit your video audition, please complete the information requested in the form below. This will complete the submission of your audition, and you can expect to hear from our office via email approximately one week after your submission informing you of your audition result.
