Tabor College Presents Lee C. Camp, the third speaker in the vocation and service lecture series “Exaudio: Listen and Live.” He is author of Who Is My Enemy: Questions American Christians Must Face about Islam—and Themselves. Two major public presentations will be as follows:

Monday, Sept. 16 – 7:00 p.m. “Reflections on Muslim-Christian Relations in America”

Lee C. Camp

Dr. Lee Camp is Professor of Theology and Ethics at Lipscomb University, Nashville, Tennessee. He is the author of Mere Discipleship: Radical Christianity in a Rebellious World (2003, 2008) and Who Is My Enemy? (2011), both from Brazos Press. He received his B.A. from Lipscomb, his M.A. and M.Div. from Abilene Christian University, and his Ph.D. in Christian Ethics/Moral Theology from Notre Dame. He has lectured or taught at numerous universities in the United States as well as in South America, Europe, and Africa. Dr. Camp has three times been awarded an “Outstanding Teacher Award” as well as a permanent designation as “Outstanding University Professor” at Lipscomb. Writing, research, and production work has garnered numerous awards and support from The John Templeton Foundation, The Louisville Institute/Lilly Foundation, Science and Technology for Emerging Adult Ministries Initiative at Fuller Theological Seminary, the BioLogos Foundation, and others. He hosts the Tokens radio show online. He and his wife Laura have three sons.

About Exaudio: Listen and Live

The Tabor Lectureship in Vocation and Service is an annual academic lectureship in which a scholar is invited to present on a meaningful expression of Christian discipleship that arises from their professional discipline. The purpose of the lectureship is to challenge and encourage believers in their individual and collective calling of work and service for Christ and his kingdom. The term exaudio is a Latin word that means to listen, comprehend, and respond faithfully.
