Tabor’s Project SEARCH interns achieve their goals

Project Search 2019-2020

All four members of the 2020 class of Project SEARCH interns at Tabor College have successfully completed the expectations for their program.

Heidi Lee-Ryder, Hillsboro, is now employed Tabor College by Pioneer Catering and is working in the kitchen serving food.

Rylee Ankenman, Marion, is employed as a dietary aide at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

Jacob Kanvie, Marion, is employed with Tabor College Pioneer Catering in the dish room.

Kyler Claassen, Hesston, is employed by Tabor College in the Information Technology System department.

“Each of our four interns have received a graduation basket,” said Robert Haude, coordinator of the Project SEARCH program

The graduation basket included items to celebrate the accomplishment of completing the Project SEARCH at home with their families.

“We would like to have a reception in late July or early August that would allow a gathering where we can all get together with the interns and celebrate their accomplishments,” Haude added.
