For the 17th consecutive year Tabor College has ranked in the Top 50 Midwest Regional Colleges in US News & World Report’s Best Colleges edition.  In addition to placing in the 49th position, Tabor also ranked seventh among the Most Innovative Schools category, 11th for Best Undergraduate Teaching, and 27th in Top Performers in Social Mobility.

The overall ratings are based on 40 percent for outcomes, 20 percent from expert opinion of higher education peers, 20 percent for faculty resources, 7 percent for financial resources, and 3 percent for student excellence.

“Tabor College faculty seek to deliver a compelling curriculum that not only prepares students for meaningful careers, but to identify a vocation through which they can help make the world a better place,” said Frank Johnson, executive vice president of academics.  “The US News & World Report ranking inspires us to redouble our efforts.”

This recognition coupled with a record Fall incoming student enrollment evidences the quality Christian educational experience undergrads desire to receive at Tabor.  For 112 years, Tabor has consistently sought to fulfill its mission of preparing students for a life of learning, work and service for Christ and his kingdom. “We are thrilled to be recognized by an outside organization for the quality educational experience we provide our students,” said Jules Glanzer, president of Tabor College. “Being recognized for innovation and quality teaching is especially gratifying and a credit to our faculty and staff for the excellent work they do in fulfilling our mission.”
