Tabor Project SEARCH signs two interns for third cohort

Two students from Marion County signed contracts Tuesday, March 19, to participate as interns in the Tabor Project SEARCH program for the 2019-20 academic school year.

Heidi Lee-Ryder from Hillsboro and Rylee Ankenman from Marion signed contracts to be the next cohort of interns starting in fall.

“This event signifies the commitment of the first wave of interns for the 2019-20 cohort of interns,” said Robert Haude, Project SEARCH coordinator. “The commitment to Project SEARCH by these young adults will put them on a trajectory toward success within their vocation.”

The program is nearing the end to a successful second year at Tabor College. Project SEARCH is a partnership between the college and Marion County Special Education Cooperative. The two organizations participate in an advisory committee that meets on campus monthly and includes area experts in special education and job placement.
