Tabor College Announces Search Committee for the Next President

The Tabor College Board of Directors executive committee has announced the 7-member search committee which will be chaired by executive coach at Trailhead Coaching and Tabor board member, Jeff Nikkel of Centennial, CO. This group will guide the college through the process of seeking the 14th president of Tabor College.

Other members include agri-businessman, Jerry Kliewer of Reedley, CA; licensed counselor at Central Kansas Counseling, Erica Haude of Hillsboro; district minister of the Mennonite Brethren Southern region, Tim Sullivan of Wichita; attorney and founding partner at Penner Lowe Law group, Sylvia B. Penner of Wichita; vice president of business and finance at Tabor, Michael James of Hillsboro; Tabor faculty member and representative on the board of directors, Wendell Loewen of Hillsboro; and, serving as ex-officio member is Susan Franz-Koslowsky of Towanda, senior vice president with Emprise Bank and chair of the Board of Directors.

The committee will conduct the search to find the successor for Jules Glanzer who recently announced plans to retire after thirteen years of service as president. The search committee will review applicants and interview top candidates, eventually making a recommendation to the full board of directors.
