In a world where:

… Life is fast-paced
… You feel overwhelmed by choices of colleges and careers

“When I came to Tabor I was a new Christian that needed to discern God’s direction for my life. I was looking to grow in loving the Lord through Christian education. I grew up in a fast-paced city (San Antonio, Texas) and I remember driving into Hillsboro and feeling a sense of peace and a place where I could grow and mature in my faith.”

I needed:

…  A place to cultivate a calling into ministry

From the classroom environment where I was prepared for ministry to many of the close friends I met on campus who I still count as brothers today, the Lord demonstrated his will by providing exactly what I needed in a critically formative period of my life to lead me into the pastoral ministry he has now called me today.

Tabor provided:

… A transformative experience
… Peers and faculty that provided tools to craft my hunger for knowing Jesus.

I may have originally gone to Tabor simply to play college soccer and get an education, but the Lord brought me there to begin refining me into the person I am today. Tabor provided all of those things by placing me in an environment that was “decidedly Christian.”
