Jeff Nikkel

Jeff is the founder and President of Trailhead Coaching, LLC, an executive coaching and consulting practice based in Centennial, Colo. He works primarily with successful executives, business owners, and teams. Jeff graduated from Tabor College in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration/Economics and from Denver Seminary in 2004 with a Master’s of Divinity (MDiv). Jeff and his wife, Lianne (g ’93), have three adult children, Garrett, Alison, and Ashley, two of whom graduated from Tabor. He has served on Tabor’s Board of Directors for two years.


Erica Hemmert Haude

Erica graduated from Tabor in 2006 with a degree in Psychology and Biblical Studies and from Denver Seminary in 2010 with an M.A. in Counseling. She is currently a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Central Kansas Counseling and an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Tabor.  Previously Erica worked full-time as Tabor’s Director of Student Success (2012-2019). She lives in Hillsboro, Kan. with her husband Robert (g ’06) and their two sons.


Michael James

Michael James

Michael is the Vice President for Business and Finance/CFO for Tabor College. He resides in Hillsboro, Kan. with his family and has a daughter who is a student at Tabor.


Jerry Kliewer

Jerry Kliewer

Jerry is a ‘78 Business Administration and Economics graduate of Tabor College. He and his wife Crystal live in Reedley, Calif. where he is president of Kliewer Packing, a stone fruit and kiwi packing plant. Jerry attends the Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church and has served on the Board of Directors since 2006


Susan Franz Koslowsky

Susan is a Senior Vice President of the Private Banking division for Emprise Bank in Wichita Kan. She has been involved with banking for over 30 years, and graduated from Tabor College in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration and Economics. Susan is the current Tabor College Board of Directors Chair and member of First Mennonite Brethren Church in Wichita, Kan. Susan and her husband John reside on a farm near Towanda, Kan.


Wendell Loewen

Wendell Loewen

Wendell is Professor of Youth, Church, and Culture at Tabor College and Director of FaithFront — Tabor’s youth leadership program funded by the Lilly Endowment. He has been teaching at Tabor for over 23 years. Wendell earned his Bachelor’s degree from Fresno Pacific University, holds a Master of Divinity degree from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary, and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is a member of Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro, Kan. where he and his wife Shelly live. They have three adult children, Taylor, Peyton, and Preston — all Tabor graduates. Wendell also serves on the Board of Directors for Tabor as faculty representative.


Sylvia Bribiesca Penner

Sylvia is a founding member of Penner Lowe Law Group, L.L.C. She has practiced law for 16 years. Sylvia graduated from Tabor College in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas in 2004. Sylvia attends First Mennonite Brethren Church in Wichita, Kan. Sylvia and her husband Craig live in Wichita, Kan. and have three children – Ella, Julia, and Andrew.


Tim Sullivan

Tim Sullivan

Tim has served the Southern District Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches for the past 16 years as District Minister and serves on Tabor Board of Directors by virtue of that role. He is a 1986 graduate of Tabor College with a BA in Humanities and received his MDiv in pastoral ministry from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary, Fresno, Calif. in 1990. Following seminary, he returned to Hillsboro, Kan. to pastor the Parkview MB Church for 14 years until his call to become the District Minister. Tim lives in Wichita Kan, is married to Donna and attends First Mennonite Brethren Church in Wichita, Kan. when he isn’t visiting other churches in the district.  He also serves on Tabor’s Board of Directors.
