Business and Entrepreneurship Center
This modern, 26,533-square-foot facility will provide much-needed space for Tabor College’s largest major and the growing Central Kansas Entrepreneurship Center. Plus, it will serve all students and the community through its ballroom, large classrooms, computer labs and ideation and maker spaces. Thanks to generous donor support, over $9.5 million has been raised toward the $12 million goal. Construction began in January and is scheduled for completion in December 2026. Homecoming visitors will have an opportunity to take tours on Saturday, Oct. 24.
East Hall Renovation
In November 2025, a donor issued a 2:1, 30-day challenge. They would give $500,000 if two others would each give the same amount to remodel East Hall. On the final day of the challenge, President David Janzen, Ph.D. (g’90), received a call from someone to be one of the $500,000 donors. A few minutes later, the donor’s wife interrupted, saying, “And I’ll give the second $500,000!” A complete remodel is now fully funded thanks to generous donors, bringing total gifts to $2 million. Phase I bathroom remodels are complete. Phase II renovation of remaining spaces is in progress, with plans to have half of the 64-bed East Hall open by fall 2026 while the other half is being completed.
H.W. Lohrenz Window Replacement
With the help of a 3:1 matching grant from the American Rescue Plan Act and over 40 Tabor College donors, more than $400,000 was raised to replace the 150-plus windows in the H.W. Lohrenz Administration Building. Our #WindowWednesday social media campaign showcased how God has used this space in the lives of our alumni and students. Faculty, staff and students in the Lohrenz Building are incredibly grateful for your support!
Estate Gifts & Land Endowment
The Next Century Campaign aspires to grow Tabor College’s Endowment from $20 million in 2021 to $50 million in 2030. Thanks to major gifts, we are about halfway there with over $34 million in total endowments for Tabor. Gifts of stock, real estate, cryptocurrencies, or other appreciated assets can provide both a tax benefit today and make a life-changing investment in young people’s lives for decades to come. Including Tabor in your will or estate plan can provide a legacy investment in generations of students. Do you own farmland? Would you consider donating a portion of your land and joining a new vision to create a land endowment for Tabor that will steward land well and provide a stream of funds for student scholarships?
