Neumann to Give Senior Recital April 7

Zach Neumann Senior Piano RecitalHILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College music major Zach Neumann will be performing his senior piano recital on April 7 at 7:00 p.m. on Thurs., April 7 at the Tabor College Chapel located in the H.W. Lohrenz building on campus.

Neumann, originally from Osborne, Kan., will be performing four pieces including one of Bach’s most popular and unusual pieces “Chromatic Fantasia and Fugue.” The evening’s performance will also include selections from Chopin, Claude Debussy, and Beethoven and which features Romantic and Impressionist music.

“This recital will be the capstone of Zach’s time at Tabor and will demonstrate his skill and talent in piano performance,” said Professor of Music Sheila Litke. “Zach is a gifted musician and I have enjoyed working with him as a student and performer.”

Following graduation in May, Neumann plans to attend UMKC Conservatory of Music studying piano performance. He is the son of Billy and Shelley Neumann of Osborne.
