Mayoral Candidates Meet with Lifelong Learners

HILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College’s Lifelong Learning program is holding an exciting program this Friday, Sept. 15, 2017.

Hillsboro mayoral candidates Lou Thurston and Charlotte A. Kennedy-Takahashi have been invited to share their thoughts on the city. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the candidates and participate in a Q&A.

“I am excited to invite the community to have an opportunity to interact with our mayoral candidates in an intimate setting,” Analisa Defiesta, Tabor College Lifelong Learning Coordinator said.

The event will be held in the Parkview Church, located at 610 S. Main St., in the activity center, beginning at 9:45 a.m. The public is welcome to attend all Lifelong Learning sessions and may register at the door for $5. Attendees may enjoy lunch in the Tabor College cafeteria after the session at the discounted price of $4.
