Lifelong Learning Wraps Up Spring Semester

Lifelong Learning Jim HoyHILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College’s Lifelong Learning program will conclude its spring semester series with a presentation from Jim Hoy, at 9:45 a.m., Friday, May 4 in the Heritage Lobby of the Sheri Flaming Center for the Arts.

Hoy, a teacher of folklore and literature at Emporia State University, will enlighten learners about the Kansas folk tales that have shaped the state and its local communities. This presentation will help audiences decipher between a folk religion, history and literature.

The public is welcome to attend all Lifelong Learning sessions and can register at the door for $5. Attendees may enjoy lunch in the Tabor College cafeteria after the session at the discounted price of $4.
