Why Stafford?

Living in Stafford County exemplifies simple, safe, small-town living amidst breathtaking beauty in scenic south-central Kansas.  Experience the varied landscapes of prairie, cropland, and saltwater marsh. The abundance of wildlife is astonishing!  Here you will not find an enormous amount of traffic, noise, or crime like you might in the city.  Our small communities provide the opportunity to know your neighbors, to get involved with local events and organizations, and to minister within the community as a whole.  Town events and Friday night ball games bring people together.  The cost of living is 21% lower than the national average, making Stafford a comfortable place to raise a family.

Class sizes are small and students have opportunities to excel both in the classroom and through numerous extra-curricular activities in our public schools.  Diverse career pathways prepare students for the future.  Many opportunities are available to serve in the schools and meet students where they are at.
