• Masks are mandated in all indoor spaces with the following exceptions: occupying one’s residence hall room and working in one’s office.
• Physical distancing is practiced. Masks are mandated in outdoor public spaces when six feet of physical distance cannot be achieved.
• Hand sanitation stations must be used when entering and exiting buildings when available.
• Personal daily temperature checks are required, with results above 100.4° F reported immediately to Student Life or to the appropriate supervisor. The appropriate test is administered as determined by a medical professional.
• Any student or employee exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 is required to contact a medical professional and inform the Student Life office or the appropriate supervisor immediately.
• Any person exposed to COVID-19 as determined by Marion County Health Department is required to quarantine as recommended by the CDC.
• All classes are moved to remote learning. Programs with specialized accreditation may be granted exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
• Tabor begins to minimize the number of students on campus by asking students who can return home to do so.
• The dining hall offers pick-up service only or delivery for those in quarantine or isolation. Courtside Grill closes.
• No on-campus visitors are allowed at this time.
• Campus operations move to virtual remote; only essential staff members are allowed on campus.
• Chapel moves to virtual remote. Athletic and performing arts events are cancelled.
• Receptions, dinners, and larger gatherings are cancelled.

When the number of cases of COVID-19 returns to a level that can be effectively quarantined and isolated as determined by the Crisis Management Team, the campus moves back to YELLOW.


If the Marion County Health Department recommends that all Tabor faculty, staff and students vacate the physical plant, campus moves to RED
