• Masks are not mandated. Masks are strongly recommended in the classroom and may be mandated at faculty discretion.
  • Sanitation stations and temperature check stations are available across campus.
  • Physical distancing is practiced with respect for each person’s comfort level.
  • Self-screening is encouraged by all students and employees.
  • Any person exposed to COVID-19 as determined by Marion County Health Department is required to quarantine.
  • Testing done when employees or students are symptomatic as determined by a medical professional.
  • Any student or employee exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 are required to tell Student Life or his/her supervisor immediately.
  • A student who tests positive for COVID-19 returns home if possible; otherwise, isolation facilities and meals are provided, and the Marion County Health Department provides medical supervision.
  • An employee who tests positive is required to stay home.
  • The dining hall will provide service in accordance with best practices in consultation with the college.
  • Students are free to leave campus but are encouraged to be mindful of travel and contact with others. Students or employees who travel outside of Kansas must abide by KDHE travel guidelines.
  • Chapel will be open to all with no tickets required. All attendees are encouraged to sit every other seat.
  • Outdoor athletics events will be held without limitations. Mask wearing is optional at outdoor events.
  • Seating restrictions and mask-wearing for performing arts events will be at the discretion of the Arts Director.

If six or more positive (isolation) cases are active on campus, the campus moves to YELLOW.
