Antigone’s tyrannical uncle, Creon, is now on the throne following the death of her father, Oedipus, and her two older brothers, Eteocles and Polyneices. When Creon issues an unjust decree, Antigone must decide whether to submit to his order or face death by standing up for what she knows is right.
