Homecoming Special!
Speaker: Ben Kubassek
Come hear my story of how I was raised in a religious commune that prevented it’s young people from getting an education beyond the 8th grade. I educated myself in secret in the colony and then left at the age of 21 to start my own business. I still educate myself daily to this day at the age of 58. I believe entrepreneurs are the missionaries of the future and that retirement is a curse invented by selfish human beings. We should learn so that we can share what we know with those less fortunate and empower them to help themselves. It’s the only we can give away what we have and still keep it at the same time.
Special note: Due to construction on campus, parking near the Wohlgemuth will not be available this year. However, we have made arrangements for Lifelong Learning attendees to park in the lot just south of the library. For those who would like, we will also be providing a golf cart shuttle service available from the library parking lot to the Wohlgemuth.
