Tabor College Presents Beth A. Silvers, the fourth speaker in the vocation and service lecture series “Exaudio: Listen and Live.” She is coauthor of I Think You’re Wrong (But I’m Listening). Two major public presentations will be as follows:

About Beth A. Silvers

Beth Silversowns and operates Checking In with Beth Silvers, a life and business coaching practice. Her professional experience includes eleven years with a large midwestern law firm as an attorney and human resources executive. She chairs the board of directors for the Ohio Justice and Policy Center, serves on the boards of directors for Beech Acres Parenting Center and Beyond Civility, and is a deacon at Florence Christian Church. She has been recognized as one of Ohio’s Most Powerful and Influential Women by the Ohio Diversity Council, a Human Resources GameChanger by Workforce Magazine, and one of Cincinnati’s Forty Under 40 business leaders. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Transylvania University.  She is the coauthor, with Sarah Stewart Holland, of I Think You’re Wrong (But I’m Listening (Thomas Nelson, 2019). Beth lives in Union, Kentucky, with her husband, Chad; daughters Jane and Ellen, and miniature schnauzer, Lucy.

About Exaudio: Listen and Live

The Tabor Lectureship in Vocation and Service is an annual academic lectureship in which a scholar is invited to present on a meaningful expression of Christian discipleship that arises from his or her professional discipline. The purpose of the lectureship is to challenge and encourage believers in their individual and collective calling of work and service for Christ and his kingdom. The term exaudio is a Latin word that means to listen, comprehend, and respond faithfully.
