Estate Planning Topic at Sept 30 Lifelong Learning

Garvie Schmidt Andy SheweyHILLSBORO, Kan. – Garvie Schmidt and Andy Shewey, Planned Giving Advisors with MB Foundation, will be the featured speakers at the Friday, Sept. 30 Lifelong Learning Program, at 9:45 a.m., in the Wohlgemuth Music Education Building on the Hillsboro campus.

“Most people think of writing a will or trust as a legal process,” says Schmidt. “However, it’s more than that. It’s part of Christian discipleship. When you consider that God is the owner of all and we are His stewards, the process is really about transferring stewardship.”

Whether you are single or married, completing your first plan or reviewing an existing plan, this presentation will help you think through the many options and decisions that go along with planning a will or trust.

Please note, due to the current campus construction, attendees are encouraged to park in one of the south Tabor parking lots where golf cart shuttle service will be available to the Wohlgemuth center.

The public is welcome to attend all Lifelong Learning sessions and may register at the door for $5. Attendees may enjoy lunch in the Tabor College cafeteria after the session at the discounted price of $4.
