Dr. Noe Garcia will serve as keynote speaker at Academic Convocation on Monday, Aug. 22, at 10 a.m. in the Shari Flaming Center for the Arts. The annual event is held during the first Monday Chapel block of the fall semester. His message is the first installment of the Gil and Rhoda Friesen Lecture Series at Tabor College.
Dr. Garcia is the senior pastor at North Phoenix Baptist Church and loves challenging and encouraging people with God’s Word. He is not only passionate about his hometown of Phoenix, Ariz., but he is also passionate about people knowing and following Jesus. He and his wife Clancey (g’09) have been married for 12 years and have four children.
“I am excited to be with you at Tabor’s Academic Convocation and to speak in Chapel!” Garcia said. “Tabor is a place where my wife was greatly impacted. I am looking forward to getting to experience a glimpse of all God has in store for you this year.”
