Midterms and Late Nights and Coffee- Oh My!

This week, my life has revolved around studying for tests and taking breaks from studying from tests. I started off the week on Sunday with finishing the presentation that I was giving on Monday. I hadn’t had much free time to work on it, so I frantically tried to put slides together and collaborate with my partner on our information. She was pretty busy too, so it was hard to find time to meet and discuss our game plan for the presentation. Late Sunday night, we finally polished the information and called it good. The only problem was that we hadn’t exactly timed it, so it ended up being quite a bit longer than our time constraints. Even so, it was one less thing to worry about for the rest of the week.

Not only did I have the presentation Monday, but I also had a large midterm that I had hardly studied for due to my focus on the presentation. Needless to say, Sunday and Monday were stressful. I got through both of them, though, so praise the Lord! It’s difficult to manage time to put focus on several important classes. But it’s okay! I am alive, Jesus loves me, and coffee is readily available, so there’s nothing to complain or worry about!

Juggling classes, extracurricular activities, and friendships has become more difficult, but life could always be worse. I still have a great relationship with my roommate, while I have sadly heard of others having some really tough times getting along with theirs. I miss my family, but I get to see them over Fall Break! The caf food has deteriorated slightly, but there are still good days, like CHICKEN NUGGET FRIDAYS!!! There are tons of reasons why Friday’s are the best days, and this is one of them.

Thankfully, my workload slowed down by Tuesday. I now have one midterm left so YAY! Friday afternoon, I’ll celebrate Fall Break by taking off for home and get some much-needed rest and home-cooked meals.
