Dr. J. Bradley Baker, assistant professor of music in piano and collaboration piano at Tabor College, is among the eight semifinalists nominated for The American Prize in the professional division of the competition for 2019-20.
Each year, the American Prize in Piano Performance recognizes and rewards the best performances by classically trained pianists in America, based on submitted applications.
The competitive categories are: professional, college/university, community, and high school level. The competition receives hundreds of applicants annually.
