Tabor College Releases 2014 Fall Semester Dean’s List

 

HILLSBORO, Kan. – Tabor College has released the 2014 fall semester Dean’s List. The entire list includes 53 freshman, 45 sophomores, 43 juniors, 46 seniors and three post-baccalaureate, for a total of 190 students. In order to make the Dean’s List, a student must earn between a 3.5 and 4.0 grade point average (GPA).

Students earning a 3.85-4.00 GPA received highest honors:  28 freshmen, 18 sophomores, 22 juniors, 31 seniors and three post-baccalaureate for a total of 102 students.

Students earning a 3.70-3.849 GPA received high honors: 10 freshman, 12 sophomores, seven juniors and five seniors, for a total of 34 students.

Students earning a 3.50-3.699 GPA received honors: 15 freshmen, 15 sophomores, 14 juniors and 10 seniors, for a total of 54.

Frank Johnson, vice president for academics, praised these students for their outstanding efforts in the classroom this semester.

“I am especially proud of each student who earned honors in the fall semester.  Their commitment to academic excellence is an encouragement to all.  I look forward to their continued success,” Johnson said.

President Jules Glanzer agrees with Johnson.

“I am impressed with the quality of our students,” Glanzer said. “They work hard and are dedicated to excellence in their chosen fields. Our students increase my faith in the future.”
