KWCH Meteorologist Ross Janssen guest speaker Nov. 6

Ross Janssen, KWCH MeteorologistHILLSBORO, Kan. – Ross Janssen, KWCH Channel 12 meteorologist, will be the next speaker at Lifelong Learning, 9:45 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6 in the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center on campus in Hillsboro. Janssen will also be bringing along his fan-favorite dog, Millie.

His session entitled, “The Many Changing Faces of Kansas Weather” will cover several topics concerning the ever-changing weather and technology. He will give a preview of the 2015-16 winter forecast and take questions from the audience. Janssen and Millie will be available for pictures before the session.

“Kansas weather has fascinated me from the time I was a little boy,” Janssen said. “I love sharing my knowledge with others about the ever-changing conditions we see here in our beautiful state.” 

The public is welcome to attend all Lifelong Learning sessions and may register at the door for $5. Attendees may enjoy lunch in the Tabor College cafeteria after the session at the discounted price of $4.
