Please join the Tabor community as we dedicate the Shari Flaming Center for the Arts and host the first performing arts event, Handel’s “Messiah,” in the new facility.
Dedication of the Shari Flaming Center for the Arts
Saturday, Dec. 9 – 2 p.m.
The public is invited to attend our dedication ceremony. The event will feature music by Tabor College students and alumni, an address by Del Gray and words from members of the fundraising and building committees. The ceremony will be followed by an open house for attendees to explore the facility. Refreshments will be provided.
Tabor Arts Presents Handel’s “Messiah“
Sunday, Dec. 10 – 7 p.m.
Handel’s “Messiah“ is a long-held tradition at Tabor College. This year more than 150 student and alumni voices join together to celebrate the season of Christmas and the birth of our Messiah. Join us for an unforgettable evening in the Shari Flaming Center for the Arts Richert Auditorium. Doors open at 6 p.m. Please come early to ensure a seat in the auditorium.

Parking and Shuttles
Guests will find the best parking opportunities in lots by the Library, behind the Student Center, near the Historic Church and athletic complex, the new MB Foundation, the old MB Foundation and along B Street and on the west side of Lincoln Street. Shuttles will be provided from the Historic Church and athletic complex lots and golf carts will roam to pick up guests as needed.
On Sunday, the parking lot just north of the building will be reserved for ADA parking and guests with ADA hang tags or ADA license plates will be given priority.
Additional Information
Auditorium doors will open one hour prior to the event start time on both Saturday and Sunday. Guests are encouraged to gather in the Regier Atrium prior to auditorium doors opening.
Overflow seating will be available in the Prieb Harder Theater on Sunday for Handel’s “Messiah.”
