Meet the Staff
Leda Graybill
Leda has been a donor accountant in the Tabor College advancement office since 2002. She received her BAAS in occupational education with an emphasis in criminal justice from Southwest Texas State University. She also holds a secondary teaching certificate in social studies from Penn State.
Two of Leda’s favorite past jobs were police dispatching and substitute teaching. She has been married to husband, Melvin for 21 years, and together they enjoy Harley Davidsons.

Jim Elliott
Jim has served as the Tabor College Vice President for Advancement since 2002. Since arriving at Tabor, Jim as enjoyed being part of the mission of Tabor of equipping young men and women who are and will impact the world for Christ. He describes the advancement department mission as mobilizing resources through:- modeling and encouraging biblical stewardship
- effective and quality communication
- building meaningful and lasting relationships
- providing opportunities for investment in the ministries of Tabor.
Jim met his wife, Karen, were married as students at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. After five years of living in Baltimore the Elliotts served nine years with Trans World Radio, a missionary broadcasting organization. From 1988-1991, Jim & Karen were in Swaziland in southeast Africa. Children, Joshua and Jessica, were both born in Johannesburg, South Africa. While in Africa, Jim completed a degree in church/educational ministries from Liberty University. The Elliotts served in TWR Guam from 1992-1997. During that time, Jim completed a graduate degree in communications at Wheaton College.
Following their service with TWR, Jim joined the staff of Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana. He served as Director of Major Gifts and Community Relations, and as an adjunct instructor in the Communications Department.
Jim is an avid coffee drinker, a Philadelphia sports fan, and reader of baseball history. Jim and his son Josh are on a quest to see all 30 major league baseball parks. By the end of the 2007 season, they will have seen 23.

Jeremy Jordan
Jeremy joined Tabor as the Director of Alumni in July of 2007. He is looking forward to being able to help Alumni continue their sense of belonging here at Tabor College. He wants to be sure that relationships are built and maintained so that current and future students have the ability to learn and grow from the lives and experiences of the college’s Alumni.
Jeremy is a 2005 graduate of Tabor College with a BA in Business Administration.
Jeremy and his wife Amy were married while students at Tabor, and have two children, Alice 3 years, and Elsie born in April ‘07. Both Jeremy and his wife grew up in Hillsboro, but before returning to Tabor lived in Ames, IA for two years. While in Ames, Jeremy worked as a manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys playing golf, basketball, and is an avid hunter.

Vance Frick
Vance joined the Tabor College Public Relations office in 2005 as a webmaster, photographer, and graphic designer. One of his goals as a Tabor employee is to show Christ working through him while doing the best job he can.
Vance received his BA in graphic design from Tabor College in 2004.
In his spare time Vance enjoys spending time with his wife of one year, Danielle, hunting, fishing, and basically anything else outdoors.

Diane Steiner
Diane has served Tabor College as a graphic designer in the public relations office since 2000. During her time at Tabor, Diane has enjoyed participating in a group that meets regularly to pray for guidance and discernment about God’s will for the campus. She also has enjoyed watching interns and student workers learn how to take a design project from the initial stage of conversing with the client to seeing the finished product in use on campus.
Since graduating from Fort Hays State University with a bachelor of fine arts in graphic design in 1990, she has spent the last 17 years working as a graphic designer. She is also a member of the University and College Designers Association.
Diane is an avid cat lover, and has four of her own. She also has one “foster” dog, and a stuffed cat named Emerson. She also enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and listening to music.

Geneva Just
Geneva is an alumna of Tabor College and has worked at Tabor since August 1991. She began as secretary in the Humanities Division. In 1999 Geneva moved to the Advancement Office where she serves as the Administrative Assistant to the VP for Advancement and Campaign Coordinator.
She says she loves the Tabor College community and its Christian atmosphere because it is a place where she can openly share her love for Christ through conversation and prayer.
Geneva and her husband, Darrel, have three children: one is a Tabor graduate, one is a current student, and one is a prospective student to Tabor College.

Connie Wiebe Isaac
Connie has served as a research assistant in the Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies since 2006. She is also the coordinator of the Tabor College Learning in Retirement program. Connie earned her BA from Tabor College in 1963 and her MA in church leadership from Eastern Mennonite Seminary in 1996.
As the wife of a long-time former Tabor College professor, Donald, Connie has witnessed students come to Tabor as freshmen from various states and backgrounds, and then watched them mature through the years and leave with enthusiasm – and the Lord with them – to face adulthood.
The Isaacs have two children, Christy Isaac Zimmerman and James Isaac.
In her spare time, Connie enjoys reading, writing, remodeling their house, exercising with a walking partner, and playing with gradchildren. She also loves being close to the vocal and instrumental music that comes from the Tabor music department, as well as rooting enthusiastically for Tabor athletic teams.
