Education Background
I am a first generation College-grad. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2009 with a BA in Communication Studies. Emphasis in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication. During college I was a Resident Advisor and had a handful of jobs on campus. My under-grad experience was phenomenal!
Family Information
I am the oldest of three. My younger brothers Edgar, 21 and Jacob, 7 are my favorite people in the world. My parents are Mexican and came to America as immigrants 26 years ago. They are now U.S. citizens. I’m SO proud of them.
Hobbies and Interests
I really enjoy a good book, music, art, scrapbooking. I like to stay as physically active as I can so I jog, bike, or swim and explore the great outdoors as often as possible. However I can also be a bit of a home body. I like to stay in, cook a great meal and watch a movie. Romantic comedies are my favorite. I love meeting new people and getting to know their stories as well as developing new friendships. Staying connected with my friends and family back home is very important to me. They made me who I am today.
So far, what do you love about being part of Tabor?
Tabor is the kind of place where you can really invest in people. In the short amount of time that I have been here I can see that Tabor is really about the students. I like being apart of a place that serves others in order to lead them.
