Departmental Statement
The Mathematical Sciences Department offers
high quality programs within the context of a
Christ-centered liberal arts education. The
department has majors in Mathematics,
Computer Science and Computer Systems
Administration, as well as programs in preengineering
and secondary teaching. In addition,
we offer foundational courses to pursue
an actuarial science degree. Our courses promote
careful, deductive reasoning within
these disciplines. Students are prepared for
graduate school, and careers in teaching,
business and government.
