Biology classes take place in the Solomon L. Loewen Natural Science Center,
Tabor’s state-of-the art science facility. The Center is named for the late Tabor Biology professor Solomon L. Loewen who was instrumental in shaping the lives and careers of many of Tabor’s outstanding science alumni. The Center’s major feature, a spacious atrium, is named for the influential
Chemistry professor Dr. William Johnson. The building also features a greenhouse, animal observation and a large lecture hall. Both students
and faculty have found the facility and equipment to be a tremendous asset for the science education.
