Tabor College to present “Godspell” as Homecoming Musical

Twelve Tabor College students make up the cast of “Godspell,” this year’s annual Homecoming musical, perfomed Oct. 2-6 by the theater and music departments.

“It is an uplifting and joyous musical loosely based on teachings and parables found in the Gospel of Matthew,” said Judy Harder, director and associate professor, communications.

The cast includes the following: Andrea Acker, junior, Littleton, Co; Jessica Coldwell, senior, Arkansas City, Kan; Sydney Coughlin, senior, Visalia, Calif; Cheyenne Derksen, junior, Goddard, Kan; Hannah Evans, senior, Wichita, Kan; Robert Howell, senior, Newton, Kan; Olivia Kliewer, sophomore, Hillsboro, Kan; Silas Pederson, senior, Gretna, Neb; Jesse Todd, junior, Onida, S.D; Kelyn Vix, senior, Maize, Kan; Nathan Vogel, senior, Hillsboro, Kan; and Benjamin Wiens, senior, Fresno, Calif;

Students will be performing songs such as, “Day by Day,” “Prepare ye the way of the Lord” and “All Good Gifts.”

The musical will be held in the Tabor College Chapel-Auditorium Oct. 2-5 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 6 at 2p.m.

General admission tickets can be purchased for $12 and student tickets for $8.
