The men’s Gospel ensemble, Hearts4Him, will present a concert at Lifelong Learning, 9:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25 in the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center.

The ensemble, based in Central Kansas, has performed on stages large and small since 2001.

Led by Jim Bartel, the ensemble includes: Rod Loucks, Keith Neufeld, David Oller, Lawrence Kliewer, Bernie Zercher and accompanist JoAnn Schmidt Nickel.

Nickel, whose father was a professional photographer and began the Schmidt Studio in Goessel, has produced a beautiful DVD using selected photographs set to her piano stylings of favorite hymns, titled, “Love and Creation.”

There will also be four CDs available, including a Christmas CD. “While we have served in various venues,” said Bartel, “our goal is always to glorify God.”

The public is welcome to attend all Lifelong Learning Programs and may register at the door.

Fees are $4 per session or $15 per semester ($29 per couple). Attenders may enjoy lunch in the college cafeteria after the sessions at the discount price of $4.
