Information Technology System Analyst/Project Manager

TABOR COLLEGE seeks a full-time Information Technology System Analyst/Project Manager.

Serve as the Jenzabar project manager and “point person,” including giving leadership to all technical/data elements of the JX conversion for each module. Also provide in-house programming for Jenzabar CX/JX products, including COGNOS. Assisting with Tabor Help Desk and seasonal and special projects as needed.

Duties: Provide ERP project management/data coordination, in-house programming (SQL and Unix), leadership to weekly conference call with Jenzabar for status updates on projects and support tickets, assistance with timely and constrictive response to incoming phone, email, and in person requests for support, and assistance with seasonal and special projects.

Qualifications: Undergraduate or technical degree, preferably in an IT-related field; or at least five years of experience including experience troubleshooting end user computer issues and providing support in a complex IT environment.

Interlibrary Loan/Serials Coordinator

Tabor College Library is seeking candidates for the position of a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Interlibrary Loan/Serials Coordinator. Position is responsible for Interlibrary Loan, copy cataloging, and providing assistance at circulation desk. Position is computer-intensive requiring great attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work courteously within the college community. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred however prior library experience may be considered. Work experience in an academic library highly desirable. Financial Aid Representative

Reports to the Director of Student Financial Assistance. Part-time position, 30 hours per week year round. Bachelor of Arts/Science preferred. Computer literacy including word processing and spreadsheets is a must. Responsible for communication with the Department of Education, including data input, downloading and corrections. Other duties include loan processing, assisting the director with administering awards, advising students and parents.

Enrollment Consultant

Tabor College in Wichita is accepting applications for a full-time, benefited Enrollment Consultant. Founded in 1908, Tabor College is an accredited, nonprofit Christian college affiliated with the Mennonite Brethren churches.

Applications, nominations, and referrals are invited.

Key duties include recruiting and advising prospective students for online and on-campus degree programs at the associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s levels. Advising duties include assisting students in pursuing degree fields that integrate their spiritual and vocational calling. The degrees offered by Tabor College in Wichita are focused in the fields of business, ministry and nursing.

To qualify for the position:
  • A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree would be helpful.
  • Demonstrated successful experience is required in professional sales, business communication, workforce recruiting, business development, public relations, or similar functions.
  • Experience selling intangibles to individuals is preferred, such as sales of educational programs, training programs, insurance products, consumer services, or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability at the user level is required in Microsoft Office or comparable applications, especially MSWord and Excel.
  • Past training is preferred in such functions as email, communications/marketing, advertising, management, social media, and/or graphic arts.
  • Only persons eligible to work in the United States will be considered.

Assistant Registrar/Registrar (depending on qualifications)

Description: Manage all activities and services related to academic records. This includes but is not limited to: registration, course and room scheduling, transcript management, graduation, athletic eligibility certification, data reporting compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies, and annual Catalog production.

Qualifications: Master’s degree preferred for Registrar; Bachelor’s degree required for Assistant Registrar. Two years direct experience or four years in a related area required. Ability to utilize strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in a high-demand, customer-service environment. Demonstrated understanding of the application of technology to deliver records and registration services strongly desired. Knowledge of Jenzabar CX preferred. Commitment to Christian faith and the College’s liberal arts mission is essential.
