BA degree in Elementary Education from Dana College
Family Information
Four children, and four children-in-law, 6 grandsons, and another grandbaby due Oct. 21. Two of my children and their spouses are Tabor grads – my daughter Tammy Carlson Thiessen and her husband Brett; and my son Daniel Carlson and his wife Heidi Glanzer Carlson.
Hobbies and Interests
Hanging out with the kids and grandkids, home decor, reading, travel, Awana at my church. I have just started on a hobby I have been interested in the last few years – re-purposing furniture.
What I love about Tabor
I love the sense of community here at Tabor, the genuinely caring people and Christian atmosphere. Wonderful attributes our students benefit from. I love Tabor for being such a safe place to learn and mature for my children who attended here. They became even better people for being here.
I love working in Tabor Admissions, the Admissions team embodies all the best Tabor has to offer – from our excellent admissions counselors, financial aid experts, operations director, and data coordinator to our excellent and dedicated student workers.
